about

I met an uber driver whose partner left him and moved away with her son without saying a word when she was 18 and he was 20. He looked for her for 28 years until he found her, and they've been married for about 15 years now. Pam is a song I wrote about them.

Summer Dream is a song about allowing the seasons of life to change.

lyrics

Where have you been?
Where have you been?
I've been looking for a long, long time
A long, long time

Bring your kin
Bring your kin
And I promise that we will be fine
We'll all be fine

Throwing stones
Throwing stones in the Chi-Town moon light
And the daytime

I'd trade it in
I'd trade it in for some peaches and a little sunshine
You're my sunshine

Don't leave me here
I'm just too scared to be alone on my own

You disappeared,
and that's no way to treat me

Don't leave me here
I'm just too scared to be alone on my own

You disappeared,
and that's no way to treat me

* * * *

Well, it's over now
And I'm gone, I'm gone, I'm gone

I hate being sober now
Like the song, like the song, like the song

I'm getting older now
So, I'm gone, I'm gone, I'm gone

It's over now
I was wrong, I was wrong, I was wrong

It's over now
And I'm gone, I'm gone, I'm gone

I hate being sober now
Like the song, like the song, like the song

I'm getting older now
So, I'm gone, I'm gone, I'm gone

I said it's over now.
